FROM THE SHILOH CLUSTER COMMUNITY DIRECTOR:
Here is the information and link to sign up for free SAT and ACT Prep classes. We will be sending an email out to the community, but I wanted you to have the information in case you have students you would like to encourage. I have attached a flyer also. Students have 1 week to register.
Shiloh Community School is partnering with TC Tech to offer Free classes for Shiloh students to help you prepare for the ACT and/or SAT college entrance exams. Classes will be free; however, if you would like workbooks or extra materials they can be purchased when you register. If you have any questions, you will contact TC Tech at the email listed on the registration page . You will have one week to register . Spaces per class are limited so If you plan to test in 2020 sign up when registration opens . The classes are scheduled to start on September 23 and will last 6 weeks. That includes a diagnostic test to determine your strengths and any weaknesses you need to work on to be successful on the tests. Another test will be given at the end of the 6 weeks so you can see your improvement. Classes will be once a week for 2-hour virtual sessions. With your participation and success, we will plan another set of classes in the Spring .
To register go to this site. Select Snellville GA Shiloh High as the school site. SAT will be 4 to 6 and the ACT will be from 6 to 8

Please remind seniors who are interested and have started an application for The Gates Scholarship, that the deadline is September 15, 2020.
To apply, students must be:
1. A high school senior
2. From at least one of the following ethnic groups: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
4. A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
5. In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
6. Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.
A MESSAGE FROM THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT:
Parents and families, thank you for your continued support of the program! We understand that the current environment in which we must operate is frustrating, but our goal is to first, ensure a great, healthy season for all of our athletes, and second, to avoid refund issues for you as fans with tickets so we will release the tickets week to week for Varsity games until further notice.
You may access Shiloh vs. Denmark game tickets early by using the link that is below. The game is on Sept. 17th which is a Thursday due to Denmark being closed for their Fall break on Friday.
We will be visitors next week so below are their stadium rules. For anyone who cannot attend the game, Forsyth County will stream the game live using the link below. Please share with your families and friends.

o Forsyth Co. High School Seating Capacity for football games will be 60%. (See Chart) – for seating details,
§ Due to the reduced seating capacity tickets will be limited and should sell out quickly. It is possible that tickets will sell out online before general seating is available.
o Ticket Prices will be $8, Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online and use your smart phone to make the process work much smoother.
o Games will be live streamed for those who wish to watch from home.
o We will encourage social distancing through signage, public address, as well as messenger blast to parents.
o Masks will be expected by all patrons/ fans while attending the event.
o No Fans will be allowed to enter the playing area before, during or after an event.
§ Exception is parents escorting during homecoming and senior night.
o Fans will not be allowed to visit with athletes, band members, or cheerleaders during an event or after the contest.
o Student Sections will be marked off as every other row.
o Middle Schoolers attending a game must be accompanied by a paying adult.
o Families will be encouraged to sit together.
o Concession foods will be prewrapped foods, no grilling/cooking on campus.
o Condiments will be individually wrapped
o Concession workers will wear gloves and masks
o Sanitizer will be available at the concession stands.
